Available Positions
The ISP Technician & Team Lead is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting internet service infrastructure, with a specialization in fiber optic splicing. This role also involves leading a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and overseeing day-to-day operations in the field.
Installation and Maintenance:
- Install and maintain internet service infrastructure, including fiber optic and coaxial cables.
- Perform fiber optic splicing and terminations with precision and accuracy.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to troubleshoot and repair network issues.
- Ensure all installations and repairs meet industry standards and company specifications.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of field technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks, and oversee the completion of projects.
- Mentor team members, providing training on splicing techniques and best practices.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure team adherence to safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Customer Service:
- Interact with customers to explain service procedures and address concerns.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and efficient service.

Inventory and Equipment Management:
- Manage inventory of equipment and materials, including fiber optic splicing tools.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of all technical equipment.

Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare reports on team performance, project progress, and service quality.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in telecommunications or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Proven experience in fiber optic splicing and installation in an ISP or telecommunications environment.
- Experience in a leadership role, managing a team of technicians.
