About UGN
UGN (Uniwisp Gauteng North) was established in 2013 and consist of UGN Business, UGN Home , UGN Gated and UGN Fiber. We have a mixture of residential, small, medium and large businesses as clients. We focus specifically on client service and value for money products/services. We provide services mainly over our own network which allow us the ability to manage the quality of service our clients experience.
In Telecommunication networks clients content for bandwidth on a continuous basis and some operators will allow such contention to go as high as 1 to ±60 which implies that 60 clients content for the same available bandwidth. Our Business model is based on different principles which contribute to the quality of service experienced by our clients.
• We manage your service up to your premises and depending on your onsite solution/equipment, we can even manage the equipment on your site remotely. This implies that we fix 99% of faults remotely which bring service restoration time down to minutes instead of days or weeks.
• We apply a much lower contention ratio, even at our entry level services which we supply at a budget (low) cost.
• All our internet services are uncapped & unshaped (Unlimited Data) which mean that we do not limit the amount of data downloaded or manipulate the data flow in any way. This allows our clients to control their monthly cost without compromising on speed.
• Upload speed is based on the service purchased from us and will be a percentage of the download speed.
• We offer Telephone services as an optional service (Geographical Tel Number). Our Call charges are per second
from the first second and our rates are very competitive.
